I can think of no better way of spending such a wet afternoon in November than sitting at my computer talking to you.
I hope that your festive preparations are well under way. I am, of course, completely organised. My hampers are filled for my family, my presents for friends have been bought. Now I just need to make my cards, wrap my presents oh and survive having a new kitchen fitted in the first weeks of December. Agh!
Please look on the Branch Website or email me if you want to know more about anything.
Have you thought about volunteering for Exeter Festival Of Winter Ales? This is a great event either as a volunteer or a visitor. Have a look and you will see that there is so much more than just bar work that needs your support. I do hope that I will see you there.
Our Branch Festive Lunch is fully booked and I am really looking forward to it. Santa will be there as well. How exciting!
I think we have a prospective Editor for Beer Tiz too. If you didn’t receive an email from me regarding this then it would be because your email address is not held by CAMRA or it is incorrect. Either way, please update your information on the CamRA website. If you would prefer not to supply CamRA with your email but still wish to receive my mail-outs then please let me know. I shall continue to use my contacts list for the time being for monthly mail-outs, but may well use the CamRA system for odd items. I wouldn’t want you to miss out!
There is no Branch meeting in December as everyone is always so busy with other activities and our Committee are busy surveying pubs for the next Good Beer Guide and judging nominations for Pub Of The Year, etc. So I look forward to seeing you in January when we will be selecting our Brewery Of The Year.
The next edition of Beer Tiz should be out soon for you to enjoy over the festive season when the tv becomes tedious. I look forward to hearing about all the wonderful and various ales you have sampled too.
